Pellegrino Guerriero, Renexia’s Project Engineering Manager, has been named a finalist at both the 2026 Platts Global Energy Awards and RenewableUK’s Global Offshore Wind Awards 2026. Now in its 28th year, the 2026 programme brings together finalists from 36 countries across 19 categories, with winners selected by an independent international judging panel. Guerriero’s professional journey spans engineering, structural design, fabrication and offshore execution, progressing into the development of large-scale renewable energy infrastructure. At Renexia, he currently contributes to leading the development of Med Wind, the 2.8 GW floating offshore wind project in the Mediterranean. It is a challenge that requires engineering, permitting, grid connection, supply chain, contracting and risk management to come together within a coherent strategy. His progression from solving individual technical problems to helping shape the decisions that allow major projects to advance reflects the value of this professional development. The Platts selection also follows his shortlisting for RenewableUK’s Global Offshore Wind Awards 2026 in the Made it Happen Champion category, providing further recognition from within the offshore wind sector.
