In the windy hills of Irpinia, in the municipalities of Casalduni (BN) and Pontelandolfo (BN), a new 34.65 MW wind power plant is being built.
Renexia is working on the installation and commissioning of the plant, including the ancillary works to connect it to the national grid. Construction work on the project started in April 2022 and the plant is expected to be energised by 2023.
Once fully operational, the plant will be able to develop around 125 GWh per year of operation, which corresponds to the energy supply of more than 45.000 average households each year.
