C’est pourquoi, lors de cette deuxi\u00e8me rencontre, nous avons pos\u00e9 \u00e0 Riccardo Toto trois questions sur<\/span> Med Wind, le projet du plus grand parc \u00e9olien offshore de la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e, dot\u00e9 d’une technologie flottante.<\/b><\/p>\n

    QU’EST-CE QUE MED WIND ET QUELLE EST SA PARTICULARIT\u00c9 ?
    \n<\/b><\/h5>\n

    Med Wind est le projet de Renexia pour le plus grand parc \u00e9olien offshore flottant de la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e, situ\u00e9 au large de la Sicile et capable de produire de l’\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 pour 3,4 millions de foyers, c’est-\u00e0-dire plus que les besoins domestiques en \u00e9lectricit\u00e9 de toute la Sicile. Med Wind a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u pour atteindre la plus grande durabilit\u00e9 environnementale possible et un impact minimal sur le paysage, car Med Wind sera situ\u00e9 \u00e0 80 km de la c\u00f4te sicilienne et \u00e0 environ 50 km de l’\u00eele de Marettimo : une distance record pour les installations offshore, ce qui rend le parc invisible depuis le continent. Med Wind repr\u00e9sente la solution qui permettra \u00e0 la Sicile et au pays de faire un bond en avant d\u00e9cisif vers les objectifs d’autonomie \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et de durabilit\u00e9 environnementale fix\u00e9s pour 2030.<\/li>\n

    QU’EST-CE QUE LA TECHNOLOGIE FLOTTANTE POUR L’\u00c9OLIEN EN MER ?<\/b><\/b><\/h5>\n

    Les structures supportant les grandes pales de Med Wind ne seront pas enfonc\u00e9es dans le fond marin, mais fix\u00e9es \u00e0 l’aide d’un syst\u00e8me d’ancrage avanc\u00e9 : l’impact sur l’environnement s’en trouve consid\u00e9rablement r\u00e9duit. Une \u00e9olienne \u00ab flottante \u00bb est mont\u00e9e sur une plate-forme flottant sur l’eau. Les \u00e9oliennes flottantes permettent d’exploiter l’\u00e9nergie \u00e9olienne dans des endroits particuli\u00e8rement venteux, qui ne pouvaient pas l’\u00eatre auparavant en raison de la profondeur du fond marin. Les parcs \u00e9oliens flottants peuvent ainsi augmenter consid\u00e9rablement la zone maritime disponible pour l’installation de parcs \u00e9oliens en mer, ce qui permet d’exploiter des zones o\u00f9 les fonds marins sont trop profonds pour des \u00e9oliennes fixes, comme au large de la mer M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e. La technologie flottante permet d’exploiter des zones maritimes situ\u00e9es \u00e0 des dizaines de kilom\u00e8tres – et donc invisibles – des c\u00f4tes, o\u00f9 les vents soufflent plus intens\u00e9ment et plus r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement, mais o\u00f9 les fonds marins sont particuli\u00e8rement profonds et incis\u00e9s. Des fonds marins pour lesquels les monopiles fixes qui soutiennent les tours \u00e9oliennes sont une solution non durable, non seulement d’un point de vue environnemental, mais aussi d’un point de vue technique et \u00e9conomique. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la technologie flottante, il sera possible de produire plus d’\u00e9nergie et, surtout, d’une mani\u00e8re encore plus respectueuse de l’environnement.<\/li>\n

    MED WIND EST LE R\u00c9SULTAT D’UN LONG PROCESSUS DE RECHERCHE SCIENTIFIQUE ET D’\u00c9COUTE…
    \n<\/b><\/h5>\n

    Afin de garantir la durabilit\u00e9 maximale du projet, Renexia a \u00e9tabli au fil des ans un partenariat avec les principales associations environnementales actives en Italie, dans le but de comprendre, par la voix de ceux qui s’engagent quotidiennement dans la d\u00e9fense de l’environnement, comment v\u00e9rifier tous les impacts potentiels du parc sur un plan strictement scientifique. Renexia a donc d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d’investir des dizaines de millions d’euros pour r\u00e9aliser quatre campagnes oc\u00e9anographiques, confi\u00e9es \u00e0 des organismes de recherche ind\u00e9pendants et accr\u00e9dit\u00e9s au niveau international. Une petite communaut\u00e9 de professionnels a \u00e9t\u00e9 mobilis\u00e9e dans le cadre de ces projets : g\u00e9otechniciens, biologistes marins, arch\u00e9ologues, tous travaillant dans un seul but : certifier la compatibilit\u00e9 de l’aire marine avec les exigences du projet propos\u00e9 au minist\u00e8re de l’environnement lors de la phase de scoping. Les nombreuses donn\u00e9es scientifiques recueillies au cours de ces campagnes importantes seront mises \u00e0 la disposition de la communaut\u00e9 scientifique et repr\u00e9senteront une avanc\u00e9e significative pour une meilleure compr\u00e9hension de notre mer.<\/p>\n

    Dans le m\u00eame temps, nous avons travaill\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re proactive pour ouvrir des tables de discussion avec les institutions : \u00e0 cet \u00e9gard, Renexia a \u00e9t\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re entreprise en Italie \u00e0 initier une s\u00e9rie de r\u00e9unions avec les minist\u00e8res comp\u00e9tents sur la nouvelle technologie. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses efforts, le minist\u00e8re de l’environnement et de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique a organis\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re table de discussion sur l’\u00e9olien en mer. Renexia a \u00e9t\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re \u00e0 parler d’\u00e9oliennes flottantes et de flotteurs, alors qu’aucune \u00e9olienne n’avait encore \u00e9t\u00e9 vue dans les eaux m\u00e9diterran\u00e9ennes.<\/p>\n

    Renexia a imm\u00e9diatement offert sa contribution et son exp\u00e9rience afin d’identifier la mise en \u0153uvre n\u00e9cessaire du processus d’autorisation, appel\u00e9 \u00e0 traiter une nouvelle technologie, et a activement contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 lancer un d\u00e9bat public sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d’une nouvelle cha\u00eene d’approvisionnement industrielle italienne pour l’\u00e9olien offshore flottant. Renexia a attir\u00e9 l’attention d’un large public sur des questions \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques strat\u00e9giques lors d’\u00e9v\u00e9nements publics organis\u00e9s par ANEV, la Fondation Univerde, Legambiente, l’organisation \u00e0 but non lucratif Marevivo, des concurrents et des institutions publiques et universitaires, au point de \u00ab faire atterrir \u00bb le d\u00e9bat sur les c\u00f4tes de Trapani \u00e0 bord de Goletta Verde au cours de l’\u00e9t\u00e9 2022. Les discussions avec les administrations locales, les cat\u00e9gories de production et les syndicats ont permis d’am\u00e9liorer le projet et de cr\u00e9er les conditions pour stimuler le d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique des territoires qui accueilleront l’\u0153uvre.<\/p>\n

    La force de ces liens de collaboration, mais aussi de profonde harmonie, a permis de d\u00e9finir un grand projet tel que Med Wind.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
